Marketing Executive
We are seeking a talented Marketing Executive to develop and drive our marketing, social media, and PR strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of current marketing trends, a creative mindset, and the ability to execute campaigns that support contract delivery and the overall profile of the business.
Salary Banding: £28,500 - £32,000
Location: Itec House
Contract type: Full-time, permanent.
Working hours: 35 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 9.00 a.m.–4.30 p.m.
What are the core responsibilities of this role?
• Responsible for increasing engagement, growing, and developing all social media platforms.
• Responsible for developing social media strategies with the aim of increasing brand awareness and customer engagement, including sourcing social media influencers to work in collaboration.
• Responsible for analysing the long-term needs of the company’s social media strategy and reporting on changes needed to overall strategy.
• Accountable for monitoring social media engagement and developing monthly reports on engagement levels to report to management teams.
• Responsible for capturing and creating captivating imagery and video for a variation of social media platforms.
• Accountable for setting measurable goals for campaigns, measuring, and demonstrating return on investment.
• Responsible for writing content for blogs, feature articles, email campaigns and press releases.
• Responsible for staying up to date with latest social media and marketing trends.
• Responsible for supporting operational departments in developing and delivering on growth objectives.
• Responsible for identifying opportunities for brand exposure through the seeding of content into PR and local press.
What skills and experience are we looking for in potential applicants?
Essential
• Marketing qualification or equivalent
• Graphic design qualification
• Proven Marketing & PR Experience
• Experience of developing video content
• Experience with SEO campaigns.
• Experience of working with the press
• Full driving licence with use of own vehicle
Desirable
• Experience of working with influencers
• Existing social media influencer contacts
• Existing press and media contact
• Project management qualification or equivalent
• Speaking Welsh is desirable.
