Two Learning Support Assistants Level 2
To commence 1st September 2024
Dŵr y Felin is a highly successful oversubscribed 11-16 Comprehensive School with excellent facilities serving
the centre of Neath. The school has an excellent reputation for its academic and pastoral wellbeing. We
have an inclusive ethos and the Additional Learning Needs Team work together to support pupils by removing
barriers to learning for those who find learning difficult. In 2020, the school opened a Learning Support Centre
for key stage 3 and 4 pupils from across the Local Authority with Autistic Spectrum Condition.
The Governing Body are seeking to appoint a dedicated, compassionate colleague to the post of Learning
Support Assistant (Level 2) at Dŵr y Felin Comprehensive School. The successful candidate will be expected
to take a key role in supporting the pupils with additional learning needs in a classroom on a 1:1 and small
group situation.
