The governors are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and creative Teaching Assistant to work in our school.

We are looking for someone who:
  • Is able to support pupil learning within a foundation phase class.
  • Is able to support the class teacher in preparing resources, setting up and delivering learning activities and assessing pupils'.
  • Can carry out practical tasks which support the smooth running of the school.
  • Can work effectively as part of a team.
  • Has good communication skills to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
  • Has good literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Will be committed to a restorative approach to behaviour management.
  • Is confident in supporting pupils with a range of Additional Learning Needs and those with English as an Additional Language.
  • Can be positive, optimistic and pro-active within an existing strong team of staff.
  • Will contribute to the general life of the whole school.
