The Governing Body wish to appoint a classroom teacher to work at Penrhys Primary School to complement our existing team.
Penrhys Primary School is situated in the heart of the Rhondda Valley. With picturesque views and a happy, caring staff, we are proud of our community school and would like to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and diligent teacher on a temporary contract in the first instance.
The successful candidate would be responsible for leading the Foundation Phase and teaching a class of Nursery, Reception and Year 1 children. You would be required to lead a small team of Learning Support Assistants and deliver well planned, high quality experiences on a daily basis.
The successful candidate will need to have a secure knowledge of the Early Years Curriculum and must have excellent behaviour management skills. It is also essential that the successful candidate has the ability to forge positive relationships with children, staff, parents and members of the Governing Body.
