Somerton Primary School ‘Respectful, Safe, Successful’
Applicants are invited to apply for this unique and exciting opportunity to become Headteacher of The Eveswell and Somerton Primary School Partnership. The schools were formally federated in January 2020, following a successful period with an Executive Headteacher.
In partnership with parents and the community, the Eveswell and Somerton Primary School Partnership aims to provide an inspiring learning environment that values and develops everyone.
We are very proud that both Eveswell and Somerton had highly positive ESTYN inspections this year. ESTYN recognised that “Both schools work together effectively to improve provision for pupils in a mutually beneficial way.” The Eveswell and Somerton Primary School Partnership allows both schools to provide excellent pastoral and learning experiences and enhances staff development.
Prospective candidates are encouraged to visit and view both schools. If you would like to do so on 12th June 2024 at 4pm, please contact amanda.bouadana@newport.gov.uk to make arrangements.
