Job Description
Gelliswick Primary School is seeking a full-time teacher to join our vibrant school. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated, enthusiastic and reflective practitioner, who has a strong commitment to get better at teaching. You will have the immediate benefits of joining a committed, collaborative, and dedicated staff team, working in state-of-the-art premises opened in January 2018. The school has around 550 pupils, including 24 pupils with complex needs, who attend the learning resource centre in a well-resourced learning environment.
The school is looking to appoint a forward thinking and innovative practitioner who is passionate about the changes in education taking place currently within Wales and would like the opportunity to translate these ideas into practice. The Governing Body is seeking an inspirational individual to work within the Learning Resource Centre, leading a team of support staff. The successful candidate will receive training and support from experienced LRC staff. Experience of working with children with ALN is desirable but not essential.
