Grade 2 SCP 6 £23,893 p.a. pro rata
65% of £23,893 = £15,530 p.a.
Term Time Only 27.5hrs/week
The role will involve:
• Supervising and supporting groups of children across the primary age range.
• Assisting in the planning and implementing of learning activities across the primary age range.
• Delivering intervention programmes.
• Carrying out pupil assessments.
• Encouraging pupils to interact with others and engage in activities.
• Providing feedback to pupils in relation to progress and achievement under guidance of the teacher.
The successful candidate will be:
• Practising Catholic or fully committed to supporting the ethos and mission of our Catholic School.
• Organised and have excellent inter-personal skills.
• Able to work effectively as part of a dedicated, hard-working team.
• Have excellent communication skills and depending on the post be able to work under the guidance and direction of the Head of Campus, EAL Co-Ordinator/ Foundation Phase Leader/ ALNCo and the class teacher.
• Have very good interpersonal skills, be confident, reliable, and flexible.
• Up to date Read Write Inc training.
• Able to demonstrate excellent literacy and numeracy skills.
• Knowledgeable of school safeguarding procedures.
• Able to demonstrate a high level of personal initiative.
• Trustworthy and professional.
• Take an active part in the life of the school.
